Modern times have significantly expanded the range of audio broadcast, and JVC RA-E981B offers a wide range of reception. You may tune radio stations in the modern DAB+ mode, but also in the traditional FM band. In both cases, the unit allows tuning and storing up to 40 presets. If you are not satisfied with the local radio stations, you may appreciate the possibility to listen to online radio stations from almost the whole world. Even in this case, up to 40 presets may be stored in the unit’s memory. To make use of this function, the unit must be connected to internet via Wi-Fi.

However, the advantages of connecting the radio to internet do not only lie in the possibility of receiving online radio stations. You can also use the Spotify® Connect function to easily connect your player to your Spotify® account.
JVC RA-E981B may also be easily paired with a mobile phone via a Bluetooth® connection and used as an external speaker.

Thanks to 2.8”colour display, operation and settings are comfortable and intuitive. For fans of wireless technology, the possibility of pairing the player with UNDOK™ mobile application is available for mobile devices using Android and iOS operating systems. The mobile application allows convenient controlling of all important functions from your mobile device.

You may also control the player using the supplied remote control unit. If you prefer more traditional audio sources, you will certainly make use of the built-in USB input (MP3 format supported), but also AUX-IN connector.
The sound is reproduced by a pair of 10 W stereo speakers with a built-in Bass Boost function. The sound output may be adjusted using the built-in equalizer. If you prefer listening in privacy, a headphone output is available too.
The option to set two independent wake-up times is another pleasant benefit. Moreover, there is SNOOZE function as well as SLEEP function for automatic shutdown. The unit is powered from the mains via the included adapter.
